Aloha Waikapu Community,
The Waikapu Community Association (WCA) invites you to the General Membership Meeting on Wednesday June 28, 2023 at 7:00 pm via Zoom (see meeting link below). Please attend this important meeting to be informed and help provide input from our Waikapu community.
1. Shayna Decker and Alex Idica from Maui Electric will speak about their pole reallocation project.
2. Keoni Gomes, Ken Ota of Waikapu Development Venture will provide an update on proposed changes and the current status of its 80-unit affordable housing project (property next to Valley Isle Fellowship)
3. Status on the Kaulana Mahina project (corner of Kuikahi and Waiale Road) by a representative from the developer and/or Jordan Molina, Director of Public Works. This will include the entrance/exit and traffic flow from the project.
4. Annette Matsuda, Maui District Engineer of the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation will discuss the pros and cons for the installation process of speed bumps or speed tables in the Honoapiilani Highway area near Waiko Road, and would like to get feedback from our community.
